Job Summary This position exists to provide high-level, highly complex administrative, consultative and coordinative program management work for the Office of Broadband Development, under general administrative oversight of the Executive Director. The position will provide leadership, administration, technical assistance, and compliance to the Office of Broadband Development for the promotion, planning, implementation, and initiatives of the Border to Border Grant Programs and Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) federal Department of Commerce National Telecommunications Information Administration's (NTIA's) "Internet for All" broadband infrastructure program and other federal and state funded broadband programs. Position works under administrative direction of the Executive Director to provide administrative, consultative and coordinative program management work. Position will lead a team of professional staff working toward various Office of Broadband Development (OBD) goals and objectives. This position is telework eligible and is occasionally required to be on-site at an office listed below and DEED Headquarters - St. Paul. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment and may telework from anywhere in Minnesota or a neighboring state. Four (4) years* of supervisory experience in professional budget, fiscal, and grants management experience focusing on the analysis/forecasting of complex programming, policies, procedures, and techniques. *Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or other closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute for one (1) year of experience; master's degree substitute for eighteen (18) months of experience.
