job summary:
A prominent manufacturing plant in the Statesville area is seeking a Maintnenace Manager. The Maintenance Manager will support plant operations by keeping production equipment operating efficiently and reliably. The candidate should have a machine maintenance background, and the ability to repair machinery and electronics. A background in the nonwovens or textiles industry is preferred. The position is salaried in the $120K range. The position reports to the plant General Manager and is top priority hire for him!

responsibilities:
Take an active role in promoting the safe operation of all equipment and employees are following all safety work practices.
Conducts safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment.
Support ownership of quality related to equipment and processes.
Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by supervising and performing equipment maintenance on a daily basis.
Develop effective preventative maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability. Supervise the daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance inspections and maintain PM records.
