Job Description:

• Read blueprints and assemble machines/products for a new production line.

• Responsible for cutting, shaping, welding, bending, repairing, or joining components, primarily focusing on tube fabrication and structural welding.

• Ensure proper alignment and accurate dimensions of each piece using various tools and machinery.

• Read blueprints and assemble machines/products for new production lines.

• Cut, shape, weld, bend, repair, or join components.

• Framework fabrication and mostly tube fabrication, structural welding, and thick wall tubing.

• Check measurements and dimensions using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.

• Place product components in appropriate spots for proper alignment using tools like hammers, pry bars, jacks, wedges, etc.

• Identify spots to cut and manipulate materials by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding.

• Use furnaces or hand torches to heat materials for flexibility.

• Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication processes.

• Operate fabrication machines such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cutters.

• Create templates for repetitive tasks to maintain a standard work quality.

• Experience with plasma cutting

• Structural steel fabrication

• Mig welding

Shift:

1st shift, 6am-4:00pm

Mon - Fri

Overtime on Saturdays (occasionally)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
