Borough of State College Chief Information Officer in State College, Pennsylvania
Title: Chief Information Officer
Location: State College Municipal Building
Starting Wage Range: $92,640 to $115,800

REQUIREMENTS: The Chief Information Officer is responsible for planning and managing technology services, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity through short and long-term planning, supervising technology staff, and implementing solutions in support of Borough and regional initiatives. Position requires extensive depth of expertise and knowledge in specialized functions or business areas that can be used to develop efficient and innovative ways to accomplish the Borough's business strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field; supplemented by six years' experience in a related field, including at least two years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Requires a criminal background evaluation and a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
