About the Department The Clinical Services Department at Lakewood Health System is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care across a variety of specialties. The department is comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals across multiple service lines, including inpatient, outpatient, and specialty care. Mission for Position The Vice President of Clinical Services will provide visionary leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for clinical service lines to ensure excellence in patient care, team collaboration, and operational success. Duties & Responsibilities Lead, develop, and oversee the execution of various clinical service operations, ensuring alignment with Lakewood Health System's mission, vision, and values. Foster a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement to optimize patient outcomes and quality care. Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team to develop strategic plans and implement initiatives that enhance clinical operations and support organizational goals. Provide mentorship and leadership to clinical department heads, ensuring consistent high performance, talent development, and accountability. Drive effective resource management and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement policies and procedures to standardize care delivery. Enhance technology utilization to optimize clinical workflows. Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including community partners and healthcare networks. Monitor patient feedback and implement data-driven improvements to satisfaction and care delivery. Position Type This is a full-time exempt position. This position will be open until filled. Qualifications Qualifications Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related clinical field required; advanced clinical licensure preferred (e.g., RN, NP, PA). Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, with a focus on clinical operations. Proven success in developing and executing strategic initiatives that improve clinical services and patient care. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and drive organizational change.
