Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of- the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.
The 3PL Non-Production Stores Analyst for BlueOval SK Battery Plants in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up. This role will be responsible for leading the development of a third-party labor provider for multiple large scale warehousing locations. The responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
Take part in the 3PL organizational development
Refine the scope and expectations of the 3PL for each location
Ensure warehousing inventory management processes are developed to create a successful relationship between BOSK and the 3PL
Work cross-functionally to create appropriate material requirements to seamlessly support operational needs
Support development of ordering procedures for maintenance and operations personnel
Develop and manage performance KPI’s for the 3PL
Drive regular business reviews for BOSK with the selected 3PL
Participate in annual budget development and invoice tracking to ensure goals are met
Develop a culture of continuous improvement with the selected 3PL
Develop a culture of Safety above all else with the selected 3PL

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
Strong ability to interface with plant personnel, salaried personnel, and plant management
Strong ability to present in front of plant leadership
Ability to teach Production System principles
Competent in the use of data for decision making
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems
3+ Years of maintenance/tooling experience
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Degrees in Material Planning and Logistics, Supply Chain mgmt., Material
Handling/Packaging Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Operations, Logistics,
desirable
Demonstrate Leadership behaviors
Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience for material replenishment desired
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous non-production material management plant experience
