Stanford University Neuro-Oncology Clinician Educator (South Bay), Department of Neurology, Stanford University in Stanford, California
The Division of Neuro-Oncology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator Line .
The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Responsibilities are expected to include clinic outreach and development of a Neuro-Oncology clinic at our Cancer Center satellite in South Bay as well as clinical duties in the Cancer Center in Palo Alto. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in divisional and departmental teaching duties and will have an opportunity to interact with other Cancer Center members in scholarly and research activities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
The successful applicant should have completed a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship and be board-certified in Neurology. Experience in both clinical management and teaching are preferred. We are particularly interested in candidates who are highly motivated to develop this neuro-oncology program at a satellite unit.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor $251, 000 - $269,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
