The Clinical Services and Training Manager holds a key position within the Central allcove Team (CaT) at the Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing (CYMHW) in Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. In close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the allcove program, the Clinical Services and Training Manager will perform two critical functions. First and foremost, the provision of clinical youth mental health and youth-centerd care expertise to ensure the quality and safety of the allcove program across the network of centers, and secondly, the development and implementation of training and knowledge mobilization systems and processes to support the successful implementation of this innovative program across the center network.

Reporting to the Center Director of the allcove Central team, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Services & Training Manager administers, oversees and develops the clinical program of the allcove model with the clinical team, ensuring the seamless delivery of mental health and substance use services for youth and young adults. The Manager provides clinical leadership for the development, delivery and evaluation of services, outcomes, and care planning for youth and young adults and acts as a clinical resource for all cove sites to staff, students and the interdisciplinary team with CaT and across the allcove network.

Duties include:

Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the allcove program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.

· Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve goals of the allcove program. Provide verbal and written evaluation of clinical model adherence.

· Contribute expertise and support for the execution, enhancements and reporting related to the allcove data management system (datacove) to manage clinical score cutoffs, review and explain trends and formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.

· Act as expert resource for the allcove integrated clinical care model for both the allcove central team and the network of centers. Promote adherence to the clinical care model through active, ongoing trainings and communications.

· Take a lead role in the design, planning and delivery of training, workshops, conferences and resources to support learning across the growing allcove network (the Learning Community).

· Coordinate clinical direction and feedback for service delivery and clinical pathways.

· Represent the program or function as the key contact and subject matter expert within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. Will also represent the program or function at the state/national/international level and to external constituencies.

· Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and developing and delivering curricula for the network, using various platforms (in-person, telephone, internet, mobile apps).

· Assist in the introduction and expansion of clinical innovations and new approaches across the allcove network and through community based translational research, dissemination, consulting, and contributing to writing articles on allcove.

May participate in development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.

· Direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. Hire, orient and provide ongoing training to allcove clinical and program staff; leading change management for introductions of new approaches.

· Collaborate with youth, young adults and international partners in developing best practices for allcove clinical care and the development of youth mental health in the U.S and internationally.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Master’s or doctorate level clinician (social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, drug and alcohol counseling) and relevant expertise with adolescents and/or young adults. · Experience in clinical healthcare workforce development · Experience in the management of direct service provision to young people, including youth of vulnerable and/or underserved populations, and implementing mental health services or programs. · Demonstrated capacity to advise on leadership and management processes, including multidisciplinary and/or cross sector initiatives, and partnerships with a wide range of professionals, organizations and stakeholders. · Demonstrated understanding of the principles of clinical governance systems and continuous quality improvement processes, including the utilization of data systems, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and the use of evaluation and risk management tools. · Detailed understanding of the California health care system, particularly the areas of behavioral health and primary care, including the range of professionals and organizations that work within or in close proximity with the sector. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED): Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED): · Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work and multi-task. · Demonstrated excellent organizational skills. · Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects. · Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. · Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions. · Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team. · Relevant subject matter knowledge. · Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*: · Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks. · Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation. · Occasionally use a telephone. · Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $99,015 - $126,383 per annum.
