The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Concierge for Nursing Home in Stamford, New York

Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently seeking an full-time Concierge.

  • This position is full-time

  • Rate is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour WITH benefits

  • Core schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm OR 11:00am to 7:00pm

  • Concierge is a part of the "Administrator on Duty" program which requires One Weekend every 9 to 10 weeks

    The Concierge is responsible for coordinating guest hospitality services for residents and family members within the facility. This position is a key in creating a positive service environment. The successful candidate will create and maintain a strong relationship with staff in all departments by encouraging communication, collaboration, and dedication to customer service and quality improvement. This position offers opportunities to work directly with local and corporate leadership teams to develop, maintain and exceed The Grand Healthcare System service experience and culture within the facility.

    Concierge Duties Include:

  • Always having a positive demeanor!

  • Giving tours of the facility to visitors.

  • Making sure new admissions are greeted with a welcome bag and escorted to their room; confirming rooms are clean and ready to take in the new admission prior to their arrival.

  • Coordinating service-related activities to ensure goals for customer satisfaction, and minimize escalation of any complaints.

  • Responsible for making facility rounds to engage residents, families, and visitors in conversation while ensuring satisfaction with the care and services we provide.

  • Working alongside department directors, keeping them informed on any concerns; following-up to ensure they have been resolved.

  • Conducting both an 'Entry Survey' and 'Exit Survey' for all residents.

    Concierge Requirements Include:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in a long-term care setting is ideal.

  • Must be a team-player and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and telephone skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have a professional attitude and a willingness to accept new challenges.
