SS USA Inc. Sr. Director Business Development in Stamford, Connecticut
New Customer Acquisitions, selling complex technological services and products to customers across the USA from niche industry segments like Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Oil and Gas and Building Automation. Making custom technical presentations on Softdels services and product/solution demo. Understanding in detail problem statements and requirements from customers technical team and defining solution and approach, involving Softdels products. Use technical skills to explain in detail the benefits of Softdels products and services which would help address the problems, highlighting the key differentiation factors. Scheduling and leading Discovery phases and white boarding session with customer for nextgen end-to-end IoT and Digital solution definition. Techno-Commercial proposal creation. Work closely with multiple stake holders. Be the Custodian of the proposal. Closing deals and negotiations (pricing, technical solution, contractual terms). Helping/Consulting customers to ensure they fully utilize and adopt Softdels complex and technical Solution/Product around Connectivity technologies and edge (AI and ML) analysis. Manage key customer accounts/engagements. Define and execute strategy for key accounts to grow horizontally and vertically. Attending trade shows, seminars, industry conferences and events. Assist product management on definition of product sales strategy and GTM. Weekly and monthly management reporting, CRM (Salesforce) experience. Significant travel throughout the USA to meet customers for all the above activities will be involved including attend industry specific trade shows, seminars, conferences, and events.
Sales methodologies experience required in Miller Heiman Sales process (MAPs and DAPs) and SPIN.
Travel throughout the USA for business meetings with existing customers and new prospects, including attend industry specific trade shows, seminars, conferences, and events. Frequency of travel would be approx. 1 week (5 days) in a month.
Must have 5 years of experience with: Miller Heiman Sales process (MAPs and DAPs), Communication Protocols (BACnet, ZigBee, Modbus, OPC-UA MQTT, CoAP, HART, 802.15.4 standards), Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Oil and Gas and Building Automation and IoT/Digital Solutions (Embedded Systems, Edge Gateways, Cloud, Integration technologies).
Must have 5 years of experience working as:Director - Business Development or related.
