VF Corporation Junior Planner DTC - Maternity Cover 1 year in Stabio, Switzerland
Napapijiri is looking for an exceptional Junior Planner DTC to join our Direct-To-Consumer team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Junior Planner DTC will be responsible for developing, executing and communicating strategic merchandise plan that support the financial objectives of the corporation for DTC business.
You, as part of the planning team, will work closely with the buying team and allocation team, to build a pre-season category plan and translate into executable in-season actions
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
Work with the senior planner to develop and review Top Down seasonal/monthly plans for DTC business, by company goals, performance and market analysis
Collaborate with planners and allocators to accurately plan and optimize in-season inventory level, while maximizing sales opportunities by taking advantage of omnichannel inventory management
Give insights to help re-forecast sales, discounts, margin and inventory at category level based on changes in trend, strategy, stock availability or business climate
Update and maintain weekly trading report. Communicate business performance highlighting key drivers and key offenders, analysing sales trend and KPIs and sharing insights and action plans with planners, allocators and buyers.
Contribute in the discussion of in-season promos and end-of-season sales identifying together with the buying and operation team the markdown strategy based on sales/stock projection and margin/discount target.
Skills for Success
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset with a passion for the retail world, with:
Strong analytical skills and knowledge. Previous experience in retail planning is preferred.
Advantage knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to create reports that meet business needs and data-visualization dashboards
Ability to analyse, present and communicate information in a manner that allows informed decision-making
Trading mentality: the ability to work in a team maximising communication between different functions, challenge results and information to identify challenges, drive for results and be profit-focused.
