Raymond James Financial, Inc. Decedent Solutions Associate - Complex Resolution in St. Petersburg, Florida

Description

Hybrid Work Environment: 40% in-office and up to 60% work-from-home, if desired. Must live within commutable distance from our home office.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, associate uses skills gained through experience and on-the-job training to answer decedent processing related phone calls from branch personnel in a call center environment. Associate will provide a high degree of customer service through education to branch callers. Associate will also serve as a specialist processing complex financial transactions by evaluating, approving, and completing decedent related transactions in client accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers calls and questions regarding deceased accounts.

  • Works with branch personnel to understand and resolve complicated problems and requests.

  • Provides support as well as assists in on-the-job training of new associates.

  • Communicates, researches and resolves issues with other internal departments.

  • Processes disbursement and cash journals up to $100,000 without supervisory review.

  • Processes security movements valued at up to $250,000 without supervisory review.

  • Conducts audits of account activity to ensure transactions meet regulatory compliance.

  • Supports a continuous improvement environment by providing regular feedback to the leadership team on processes and procedures.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook to create/update documents, reports, spreadsheets and emails.

  • FINRA regulations, Raymond James and Anti Money Laundering policies with an eye for situations that could present risk to the firm.

Skill in:

  • Verbal and written communication to interact with all levels of management, other associates and counterparts at other firms.

  • Servicing a high volume of calls from FA’s and associates while providing excellent customer service.

Ability to:

  • Project a professional demeanor.

  • Work thorough complicated activity

  • Work independently and in cooperation with supervisor.

  • Work well under stress created by time deadlines, workflow volume changes, and telephone/associate inquiries.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

or

  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training approved by Human Resources.
