Agribank Fcb Senior Business Analyst (onsite/hybrid) in St. Paul, Minnesota

Senior Business Analyst (onsite/hybrid) Position Overview As a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world. The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving business initiatives and projects by analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across various departments and various vendors to understand needs, develop detailed business requirements and ensure successful delivery of business solutions aligned with AgriBank's strategic initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst applies critical and system thinking as to how components influence one another within a whole system, business or process. Duties Include: Requirements and Gathering * Develops business analysis artifacts (use cases, business models, needs and features, etc.) to document "as-is" and "to-be" requirements and business process plans as they pertain to specific projects and/or functional area * Elicits, analyzes and validates the business needs of stakeholders, customers and end users * Translates business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements in an understandable and presentable format * Identifies and communicates risks and issues to the Principal Project Manager that may require changes to scope * Organizes and synthesizes large amounts of information provided by stakeholders * Leads documentation requirements for traceability and future use Solution Design and Implementation * Validates the solution (people, process and technology) meets the business capability objectives * Identifies and recommends opportunities for continuous improvements and innovation to process leaders * Collaborates with business leaders in evaluation of resource requirements for successful project delivery * Leads and influences business process analysis to identify key business issues, gaps or needs * Aligns business analysis framework and approach to program and project methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) Testing Coordination * Leverages AgriBank templates for testing best practices * Documents framework for User Acceptance Testing ensuring alignment with defined business requirements * Partners with the project manager to create and update project schedules * Monitors and reports progress of User Acceptance Testing Stakeholder Management * Guides business leaders in assessing the amount, abilities and technology needs of resources for effective post-project implementation * Manages relationship with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations partners with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based on business value, risks and constraints Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or information technology preferred or related field * Experience in participating in Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks * 4 - 6 years of related experience * Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Knowledge * Knowledge of Farm Credit systems and/or banking desired * Knowledge of Business Analytics methodologies and best practice * Knowledge of current and new technologies as well as best practices Skills *Skill in collaborating with stakeholder to identify and document needs and detailed requirements *High level of organizational skills including organizing material and information in a systematic way to optimize efficiency *Skill in listening and conveying awareness of business problems or issues to find resolution *Skill in analyzing problems and recommending appropriate solutions *Visionary - One that can piece the big picture together given the defined purpose of the work-at-hand *Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effecti ely with all stakeholders and complete documentation to sufficiently explain the project, program and/or business and system specifications *Ability to drive and coordinate diverse teams, both internally and externally *Work effectively across leadership, functional teams and customer organizations. *Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of AgriBank's systems and data.
