City Of St Paul Safety Officer in St Paul, Minnesota

Join us! We are hiring a professional team member to help us with our American Disabilities Act (ADA) transition programs and planning, safety training, and emergency planning in the Parks and Rec and Library departments in our Parks and Recreation and Library departments. Here s what you can expect to do: Develop and coordinate an occupational safety and ADA programs and planning through development of procedures, investigation, and periodic inspections. Develop and conduct safety education and training programs for employees. Investigate occupational accidents, injuries, and potentially hazardous environmental conditions, examines causes, maintains and analyzes records, and recommends appropriate actions. Identify enforcement and inspection measures to reduce Worker Compensation claims. Lead and collaborate with divisions regarding emergency planning, safety meetings, participates in City-wide safety meetings, and participates in department safety and management meetings.
