Job Summary: Support employer relationship function at direction of the Sr. Program Manager and in cooperation with financial counselors who serve as relationship specialists for organizations, employers, and financial institutions utilizing LSS Financial Counseling's Financial Choice Program. Coordinate, produce and conduct workshops on various financial topics. Provide 1:1 financial counseling to individuals, couples, and families seeking to reach their financial goals. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years related work experience in human services or community development, financial industry, and customer service. 1 year of direct experience in training, credit counseling or financial education a plus but not required. Strong computer skills including ability to use internet, email, MS Office products. Familiarity with social media apps is a strong plus. Strong clear interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills and writing skills. Ability to be positive and persuasive is a strong plus. Self-starter, demonstrated ability to multitask and operate independently under deadlines with attention to detail. Comfortable with public speaking and group conversations. Conceptual and critical thinking skills. Analytical reasoning skills. Knowledge of or willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on trends and complexity of financial services industry. Knowledge of consumer credit trends and laws, NFCC standards and state of MN regulations a plus. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Financial Choice program processes and offerings as well as an understanding of how it fits into LSS Financial Counseling overall.
