Regions Hospital Pharmacist-in-Charge - Infusion in St. Paul, Minnesota
This position will serve as the pharmacist-in-charge at an existing specialty center building infusion pharmacy. The pharmacy falls under the supervision of Regions Hospital Pharmacy. The pharmacist will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day pharmacy services focusing on IV preparation and take the lead to meet all regulatory requirements for this pharmacy. Strong customer service skills and able to work independently are important. This position will primarily be scheduled for weekday day shifts at this time. Weekends, evenings, and holidays are not currently part of the role but that could change if patient care needs shift over time. Pharmacists provide professional pharmaceutical services by reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information to healthcare providers, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and performing related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy. Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota. Experience with infusion therapy order verification and preparation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with and working knowledge of infusion therapy plans. Solid understanding of Minnesota Board of Pharmacy rules as well as USP standards. Additional Information: This is a union 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Woodbury, MN. The full salary range for this position is $71.95-$81.94 per hour, based on experience.
