**This position is not telework eligible. Applicants must be willing and able to report to MNsure's office in St. Paul 5 days per week.

The temporary MNsure Administrative Assistant provides office operations and administrative support services to the MNsure organization during open enrollment. This position is a resource for all department inquiries to MNsure and sees that all correspondence coming into MNsure is handled quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Providing administrative and clerical support to MNsure.
Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
Scanning, faxing, and filing documents.
Acting as first point of contact for MNsure building.
Organizing and maintaining work areas such as, copy and supply areas and meeting spaces.
Minimum Qualifications
Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and via email.
Data entry skills sufficient to enter alpha-numeric data efficiently and accurately.
Database management skills sufficient to navigate and utilize multiple database systems, software applications and using multiple monitors.
English Language skills sufficient to understand and compose, written correspondence; and to communicate effectively with co-workers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience receiving, separating, and preparing large volume of incoming mail and faxes.
Experience effectively proofreading documents.
Knowledge of the provisions of Minnesota Government Data Practices and Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws.
Physical Requirements
Physical Demands including standing, sitting, pulling, stooping, ability to move arms on a continual basis sufficient to open mail, sort and file documents, perform repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 20lbs.
