Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing lines as well as other project support. This individual will support key responsibilities such as:

• Partner with operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements.

• Support Assembly operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

• Work closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.

• Lead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles.

• Lead cost reductions and yield improvements with delivery partners.

• Utilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives.

• Improve equipment capability and reliability.

Work Environment

The position will be based on the floor of the facility. Initially, the role will be primarily on the floor but will transition to a 50/50 split between floor work and desk-based project work.
