Job Summary: As a Mailroom Specialist, you will process mail, handle incoming bank deposits, process electronic reports, paperwork, print/copy jobs, support vehicle fleet process, licensing for programs throughout Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS), and back up coverage for Metro front desks. Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of related experience required with a general accounting focus. Minimum of one year of related experience in a mailroom copier center preferred. Online check scanning experience strongly preferred. Understanding of HIPAA laws and regulations. Cash handling, customer service, and phone call center experience preferred. The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively. Able to work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner to provide exemplary customer service in person and by telephone. Must possess good judgement skills, able to work quickly and accurately, make decisions, and attention to detail required. Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise. Ability to operate office equipment such as multi-purpose printer/copiers, other printer job equipment, computers, calculators, telephones including call center, and check scanners.
