Sagitec Solutions LLC IT Quality Assurance Engineer in St. Paul, Minnesota
Job Duties: Analyze needs and impact to determine the direction of software quality assurance for information technology systems of the public employee pension plans in those locations to ensure the quality of the software products. Formulate and plan the software quality system requirements from the client s business perspectives. Automate, evaluate and implement the processes to be followed by software developers for quality assurance. Generate and maintain test plans that provide the optimal coverage based on project constraints including requirements validation, functional verification and performance. Test integrity of websites and applications by data driven and process driven tests, using our proprietary technology and other related tools. Provide timely status, metrics and issues to technical lead and Project Manager. Communicate defects and needed enhancements to software developers. Improve test cycle duration through the use of an automated testing tools. Develop procedures including system development, configuration control, software release and archival which should be adhered to in the software development process. Create, modify or provide input to the quality assurance management processes to meet internal and contractual requirements. Maintain version control, manage and test code releases. Train project team with testing process and error documentation. Monitor test codes. Requirements: Bachelor s or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or Lead QA Exp. w/unemployment Insurance Domain knowledge; or QA Engineer, Junior QA Engineer, QA Analyst, Tester, or related occupation in pension, retirement systems, or unemployment systems domain. In the alternative, we will accept 5 years experience in the above-stated occupations. Additionally, all candidates must possess 2 yrs: XML, and Microsoft SQL Server.
