Regions Hospital Hospital Social Worker in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions is hiring a Hospital Social Worker. Come join our dynamic and passionate Social Work team! This position is a 32 hours/week, with scheduled hours between Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p. Regions Hospital Medical Social Workers provide patients and families with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses within a hospital setting. Delivers professional and thorough social work services, including psychosocial assessment and intervention planning. As a social worker you would support patients and family care givers, providing patient education and counseling, and making referrals for other services. This position will work independently and as part of a team, working effectively with various internal and external partners, patients, families, and physicians to facilitate patient care. Work Schedule: Days. Every 4th weekend. Required Qualifications: MSW from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or a similar accreditation body designated by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. LGSW, LISW or LICSW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work 1 year of experience in healthcare or social services (2 years of social work experience in LICSW) Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
