This position exists to provide management, coordination, and support for IT governance groups within the Department of Human Services (DHS), Minnesota IT (MNIT), Counties, and Tribal Nations. This position will provide high level coordination for the Business Solutions Office (BSO), governance structure and joint workgroups related to these areas of business. This position will serve as the division’s technical service liaison (TSL), provide support and expertise for MS 365 tools (SharePoint and Teams) and other enterprise technologies, create and maintain policies and procedures, coordinate finances, provide logistic and documentation management, coordination of timelines and deliverables internal to the BSO, within and outside of the agency.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in procurement activities, such as, leading registration/travel for staff and purchasing supplies and equipment. Ability to manage administrative office operations and make recommendations to leadership for new or revised practices and processes for smooth and efficient division and governance operations.
Basic technical knowledge to serve as first point of contact and troubleshooting for staff with technology/desktop issues.Strong knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Teams.
English language skills in writing, speaking, and reading sufficient to compose meeting minutes and other documentation with accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation and to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
· Two years of administrative support in an office setting
- Advanced level clear writing skills with ability to draft and review documents for accuracy, readability, accessibility, and compliance for varying audiences.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites standard software programs for word processing, workflows, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect them.
· Detail-orientated, thorough, accurate, and strong problem-solving skills/dilemma resolution skills.
· Excellent organizational skills as well as project management skills and the ability to coordinate/prioritize several, complex, on-going activities at once.
· Ability to organize ideas, prioritize work, meet deadlines, be self-directed and work independently and as a member of a team. Maintaining a professional presence.
· Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
