This Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team! You will direct and manage sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy. You will need to maintain a sufficient balance of prospects in the pipeline to ensure continuity of sales and drive the company s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals. Your Key Responsibilities Responsible for generating new sales accounts pertaining to our diverse service lines, but primarily focusing on the following: Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene Investigation and Remediation Real Estate and Development PFAS and other emerging contaminants Navigate company structures to get past gatekeepers and influence decision-makers Develop a strong working knowledge of the markets: pricing, services and competition Develop and maintain sales strategies, gather and evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data, and implement plan changes as needed Attend and participate in industry related trade shows and networking events Continuously build, partner and manage strong relationships with key players/decision makers in our industry Pursue and achieve public relations opportunities in the environmental sector pertaining to our services Monitor, review, and report all new sales activity and results through CRM Generate lists and pipelines utilizing CRM Consistently meet and exceed sales goals Engage in problem solving by performing analysis, technical writing, and recommendations to clients by partnering with Project Managers Partner with staff to prepare sales and marketing related deliverables, meetings and submittals, as well as attending client meetings, and conferences Partner with other Business Development leads at Bay West to identify potential new opportunities for environmental services with existing clients Effective communication and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
