MetroPlains Management LLC Property Maintenance Technician in St. Louis Park, Minnesota
Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is fully accountable for completing residential work orders at our properties, including Red Oak Manor in Farmington, MN, and Louisiana Court in St. Louis Park, MN. The technician will split their workweek between these two locations, ensuring the completion of routine maintenance, heating, cooling, painting, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and more. What You ll Be Doing: 1. Maintenance Maestro: Tackle service requests in areas like heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more. Whether it's a quick fix or a major repair, you ll recommend the best course of action. 2. Polish & Shine: Ensure every job is done with professionalism and leaves the property looking its best. 3. Project Pro: Oversee construction and repair projects, ensuring they re completed on time and to the highest standard. 4. Improvement Guru: Share your insights on property upgrades and improvements for budget planning. 5. Team Player: Join site meetings and contribute your expertise. 6. Grounds Guardian: Keep our buildings and grounds looking pristine remove debris, weeds, and report any maintenance needs. 7. Skills Sharpening: Stay on top of your game with ongoing training. 8. Safety First: Always use the required safety gear and encourage others to do the same. 9. Special Projects: Take on unique tasks and additional responsibilities as they come up. 10. And More: Other duties will keep you on your toes and ready for anything! What You Bring to the Table: 1. Tools & Transport: You ve got your own hand tools, a valid driver s license, vehicle, and insurance. 2. Flexibility: Ready to work extended hours, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies. 3.
