Description
Our client in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metro is looking for an interim Credit & Collections Manager. This role would be responsible for managing people, procedures, systems and controls relevant to extending credit to customers within a specified region. The role would also support the following tasks:
Provide portfolio performance reports and guidance to finance and business leadership teams.
Guide the team to ensure they are utilizing the system to best guide their collection efforts.
Support the team with more complex credit and collections issues.
Provide forecasts and analyses of collections, portfolio risks, and reserve requirements.
Interact with senior leadership regarding risks and areas for improvement.
Interpret performance measures to ensure operations meet organizational expectations and objectives.
When needed work with the sales team to assist with customer collection or negotiations.
Requirements
Preferred: Prior experience leading credit and collections teams in a business-to-business
B2B credit risk analysis and collections experience.
Ability to drive data-driven process improvements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, experience with ERP Systems such as Get Paid, SAP, JDE, and/or Infor M3.
