Robert Half Credit & Collections Manager in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Description

Our client in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metro is looking for an interim Credit & Collections Manager. This role would be responsible for managing people, procedures, systems and controls relevant to extending credit to customers within a specified region. The role would also support the following tasks:

  • Provide portfolio performance reports and guidance to finance and business leadership teams.

  • Guide the team to ensure they are utilizing the system to best guide their collection efforts.

  • Support the team with more complex credit and collections issues.

  • Provide forecasts and analyses of collections, portfolio risks, and reserve requirements.

  • Interact with senior leadership regarding risks and areas for improvement.

  • Interpret performance measures to ensure operations meet organizational expectations and objectives.

  • When needed work with the sales team to assist with customer collection or negotiations.

    Requirements

  • Preferred: Prior experience leading credit and collections teams in a business-to-business

  • B2B credit risk analysis and collections experience.

  • Ability to drive data-driven process improvements.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, experience with ERP Systems such as Get Paid, SAP, JDE, and/or Infor M3.
