The Cigna Group Senior Account Executive (Technology/Project Management), Centene - Express Scripts - Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri
SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing strategies for effectively aligning technology, service and solutions that meet the objectives of our largest and most unique Express Scripts client relationships. Responsible for the strategic planning, internal coordination, maintenance, and communication of client technology needs. Must be skilled in influencing processes and expectations as needed to balance clients’ needs and technology ability to deliver within the enterprise portfolio needs, and maintain client relationship and service level expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee and influence overall tech enhancement management within assigned client portfolio. Work with cross-functional areas such as BPO, benefits, information technology, regulated markets, product, account team and operations to ensure successful technology management.
Elicit and document business/user requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications. Must be able to understand technology requirements enough to ask relevant questions and influence prioritization to optimize tech output.
Assist tracking and reporting of project progress, issues, and risks to ensure deliverables are on track.
Maintain strong client relationships with senior leaders to ensure retention and client satisfaction targets are met or exceeded.
Manage complexities of complex, high quantity, & sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. Acquire data from multiple sources and collaboratively work cross functionally when solving problems and creating solutions.
Oversee client resolution/escalation of client issues as it relates to custom technology projects or strategies. Think creatively on solutions ESI can offer.
Perform functions as part of the account team. Build seamless relationships internally.
Lead ongoing collaborative efforts with external leadership and their consultants to conduct off-site meetings and recurring webcasts as appropriate.
Champion internal advocacy for client service and member experience.
Support tech projects across Strategic Markets for efficiencies, duplication of tech requests.
Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Business Project Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
Determine requirements, plan projects, establish priorities and monitor progress. Identify and expose the business opportunities and implications of re-engineering projects. Identify and facilitate process design changes and execute process improvement initiatives. Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
Provide measurement support (i.e. development, reporting, validation and improvement). Coordinate with other project managers as needed.
Actions have significant impact on key Department objectives. Focus on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Business Project Management assignments.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience, proven track record in account management
8+ years of relevant work experience
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of the PBM industry
Knowledge around Public Sector entities preferred
Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential
Collaboration, strategic operations, and leadership skills are essential
Developed organizational, analytical, interpretative and time management skills
