Enterprise Holdings Marketing Strategic Planning Director - Marketing in St. Louis, Missouri

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic leader to help to drive forward key marketing initiatives in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company. You will do this by collaboratively creating our new global marketing operating model, streamlining processes, communication consistently and frequently, building trust across the organization, prioritizing areas for investment, and assisting key leaders in achieving focus within their teams. In support of the marketing leadership team you will help craft the annual Marketing plan and gain alignment across a number of peer leaders in marketing and provide quarterly updates to the plan. You are in a unique position to work closely and collaboratively across a variety of cross functional teams, including marketing, communications, technology and operations to deliver on expected outcomes.

It requires a unique blend of deep strategic, analytical, and collaborative mindset to empower global marketing prioritization based on business, consumer, market, and competitive shifts. You should be very comfortable analyzing data & KPIs, working proactively, synthesizing complex insights, communicating actionable opportunities and at times facilitating execution to deliver results.

This leader will partner with the insights and measurement teams to globally assess brand health metrics and performance-based marketing analytics on an ongoing basis and will be the champion for continually progressive thinking and optimization. The role requires the ability to balance the now with the next; regularly building high quality presentations as well as working on special project initiatives.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with a hybrid schedule available.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and evaluate global business, consumer and market landscapes to partner across marketing leadership to shape 3-5 year global marketing priorities and roadmap.

  • Maintains pulse on macro and competitive insights to ensure strategies, connects with key internal teams like business development to ensure marketing priorities and strategies are aligned with near and long-term company priorities and needs.

  • Serves as the nucleus of the marketing department tracking progress against near and long-term goals, results and overall progress. Proactively identifies emerging best practices or opportunities and works across teams to create scale or sustainable solutions.

  • Facilitates the marketing annual strategic planning process and on-going reviews including the preparation and consolidation of on-going leadership level dashboards, reports and presentations.

  • Works with the marketing leadership team to identify and prioritize areas of impact and leverage across the marketing org including building and refining the marketing operating system, update cadence, and accountability frameworks.

  • Lead and/or project manage key initiatives and strategic projects across the marketing organization.

  • Develop and maintain marketing presentations and dashboards, creating global marketing standards and templates for translating marketing heavy content into digestible and meaningful information for key stakeholders across the company and, in collaboration with communications, externally.

  • Facilitates marketing strategic meetings and other key sessions. Lead and partner with agencies on annual reviews and strategy sessions.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or related field preferred)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Ten (10+) or more years of Global Marketing experience

  • Five (5+) or more years of demonstrated ability to translate marketing outcomes to business outcomes

  • Experience with accurately establishing forecasts and influencing decision-makers based on insights

  • Leading a large or Global team

  • Building annual global marketing plans

  • Building integrated, complex presentations for diverse stakeholder groups

  • Successful track record in leading cross-functional efforts

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business partnerships globally and cross functionally

  • Experience in marketing transformation efforts yielding improved results and team engagement

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree
