Compensation Range

Hourly: $25.70 - $30.30 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to execute multi-channel marketing and promotional campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate quality leads for the Wealth lines of business, including asset management and trust services, private banking, institutional, and brokerage. This role helps to drive business through the expansion of existing Commerce Trust, Retail bank and Commercial bank client relationships, in addition to attracting new prospects. This individual is expected to partner and collaborate with marketing teammates and internal line of business partners for planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have marketing campaign experience and possess a strong business and customer orientation and growth mindset, while sharing the marketing team’s values for driving to results, working smart, being innovative and efficient.

This role reports to the Commerce Trust Director of Marketing. This role is located in the Clayton, St. Louis office and works full-time from the office.

Essential Functions

  • Execute and support the promotion of brand, content, segment, and capabilities campaigns in existing footprint and expansion markets, including paid, earned, owned and internal marketing channels

  • Develop marketing materials and collateral to complement the content plan and supplement officer interactions with clients and prospects

  • Leverage a wide array of digital and non-digital marketing channels including email, digital, social, print, mail and other channels; test new marketing strategies to further build marketing capabilities and grow our insights into the various target audiences

  • Facilitate internal working groups and partner with external vendors as needed to collaborate on the development and implementation of campaign journeys, marketing materials and special projects

  • Organize and document project plans and project status for effective internal communication and collaboration to progress projects as expected and drive projects to timely and successful completion

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required

  • Knowledge and experience in marketing and communications, including writing marketing copy as needed for campaigns and marketing materials

  • Knowledge and experience using content management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems and workflows to execute campaigns and deliver leads to sales

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, to collaborate and navigate within and across the organization while keeping business objectives front-of-mind

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, collaboration, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with company culture and core values

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 3+ years of marketing or related experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in the wealth management and/or investment management industry preferred

  • Marketing experience in financial services or luxury brands preferred

  • Experience or exposure partnering with sales teams in a marketing function preferred

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $25.70 to $30.30 per hour.
