Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of all equipment centers through preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
Responsibilities
Daily Backlog Prioritization and Planning, including coordination of maintenance downtime with production priorities
Complete Corrective and Emergency Maintenance on all equipment centers
Complete Preventative Maintenance on all equipment centers, including lubrications, calibrations, certifications, inspections, equipment overhauls, and filter replacements
Maintain Spare Part Inventory, including sourcing, receiving, checking parts into and out of inventory, and general sanitation and 5S ownership of the spare part inventory area
Conduct routine BOM and assembly reviews for new and existing equipment centers
Coordinate and oversee 3rd Party Contractor Maintenance
Complete Problem Terminator and Abnormality Reports for root cause identification, validation, and review
Routinely review and revise PM and SOP
Execute Deep Cleaning and Tagging
Improve Maintenance KPIs
Provide maintenance-specific coaching and guidance to enable autonomous operations
Essential Skills
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
High School Diploma or GED
2-year technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience in electrical or mechanical field
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience with pump and pump seal installation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds; valve installation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds; process instrumentation installation, set up, and troubleshooting (temperature, flow, pressure, pH, conductivity, etc.); steam systems; heat exchangers; industrial equipment lubrication; electric motors, belt drives, chain drives, gear drives, bearings, couplings, clutches, and brakes
Experience reading engineering drawings and industrial equipment manuals
Experience with lifting equipment, hoists, rigging, and slings
Baseline understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to be continuously on feet and stand for up to 12 hours a day
Able to walk up and down stairs
Able to work in varying temperatures and climates
Technical and computer knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as required

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $83000.00
