Abbott Point of Care has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS) .
Considered locations- St. Louis, MO; Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN
The ISS will be a part of a dynamic field support service team responsible for driving the successful implementation and verification of our products within Hospitals within assigned geographical regions. Key responsibilities will include collaborating with lead IPMs, providing best-in-class execution of implementation activities and tasks in support of the company's portfolio of products, and engaging with key personnel to restructure customer processes to facilitate patient better care with the company's products. You will continue Abbott’s 130+ year tradition of bringing new products and technologies to the world that create more possibilities for more people at all stages of life.
WHAT YOU DO
Implementation Support: Coordinate and execute Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case.
Administrative Tasks: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including updating project notes and milestone dates in Summit, expense reporting, and other necessary items.
Customer Relationship Management: Understand customer needs, build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, and articulate the benefits of point-of-care testing.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of key product attributes and conduct product demonstrations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required:
Bachelor's degree- preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field; Associate degree with relevant experience,
3 to 4 years of experience in the field
Multi-tasking: Manage multiple assignments across geographies.
Planning and Prioritization: Strong organizational skills.
Solution-Oriented: Provide solutions and contingency plans.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce).
Travel: Willing to travel 75% of the time, including overnight travel. Eligible for a company car.
Teamwork and Independence: Work independently and as a team member.
Customer Service: Develop professional relationships; and appropriate behavior.
Self-Starter: Motivated by personal and team success.
Communication: Convey information clearly and concisely.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Public Speaking: Confidently present to upper management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Centers.

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
