Copeland Global Internal Communications Specialist in St. Louis, Missouri

As a Global Internal Communications Specialist, You Will:

  • Provide communication expertise to key strategic initiatives developing and managing global communication campaigns that drive employee engagement and alignment

  • Support the delivery of the internal communications strategy and compelling content creation

  • Identify, write, and edit a broad range of communications for internal audiences, including articles, talking points, and scripts that are both engaging and results-orientated

  • Provide frameworks and templates to support the development of the internal communications capability within Copeland

  • Develop and distribute content to inform, engage, and align the workforce with the vision, strategy, cultural values, and priorities of the organization

  • Help develop and implement a strategic internal editorial calendar, complete with campaign content, executive visibility initiatives, culture events and communications cascades

  • Further establish and implement internal communications governance guidance and publishing policy

  • Support global webcasts with content material creation for messaging and event management

  • Partner external communication team to ensure alignment of internal messaging and pass through within the organization as needed

  • Participate in the shaping and development of company change management initiatives and messages

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of internal communications experience in a fast-paced global organization

  • Experienced in stakeholder management

  • Strong writing, editing and presentation skills, with working knowledge of the Associated Press style

  • Flexible, resilient and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of multiple communication channels, especially digital technologies, internal social platforms, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Outlook, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States- Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:

  • 5 or more years of internal communications experience in a fast-paced global organization

  • Experience within a matrix organization, managing multiple projects and stakeholders

  • Experience with change communications

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
