A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HARTWIG APPLICATION ENGINEER:
Evaluates manufacturing processes and recommends industry-leading solutions.
Develops and tests alternative processing methods.
Performs time studies for process improvement recommendations.
Provides technical support for customers including programming and machine set-up.
Oversees machine installations.
Conducts research and assists with presenting proposals to customers.
Performs on-site customer programming and machine operation training to customers.
Sets up, programs, and demonstrates machine tools for customers.
TO JOIN THE HARTWIG TEAM, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
Two year degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Previous work history including; machining process development, project management, and/or CNC programming.
Okuma machine programming experience is preferred.
Able to demonstrate knowledge and application of machine tool products, options, and functions.
Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and background.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with sales to provide customer solutions.
Capable of building lasting and trusting relationships with customers.
Valid driver\'s license in state of primary residence required.
