ManpowerGroup 1st shift - Press Brake Operator - Washington MO in St. Louis, Missouri

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be able to work with tight tolerances, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Location: Washington, MO

Pay Range: $17.13 - $18.00 an hour

What's the Job?

  • Prepare, set-up, adjust and operate CNC press brake as required per print and production schedule to produce fabricated components.

  • Check height, depth and thickness using calipers, and combination squares while knowing how to read a tape measure.

  • Work with tight tolerances and perform spot inspection on parts to meet customer specifications and quality parts.

  • Lift or move items 25 lbs. or more, consistently.

  • Maintain work area and equipment is kept in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety precautions.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and interpret prints.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Punctuality and consistent work attendance are a must.

  • Understanding and supporting the company policies and procedures (which include safety).
