Maintenance Tech Trainee - Apprenticeship Program
There is an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician Trainee -at the Altec Midwest Facility in St. Joseph, Missouri. You must be a student enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program at North Central Missouri College in Savannah, MO.
Qualifications:
- Student enrolled in the apprenticeship program at North Central Missouri College
- Machine knowledge through experience or vocational school training.
- Ability to pass applicable testing by the end of the program.
- Have basic computer usage knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots automated equipment.
- Welds, cuts, brazes, and solders.
- Operates and troubleshoots circuit boards, and NC and CNC equipment.
- Interprets diagrams and operation manuals.
- Operates milling machines and drill presses.
- Troubleshoots programmable controllers, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
- Works with others to make independent decisions.
- Reads blueprints.
- Follow payroll timekeeping policies.
- Keep track of day-to-day processes in the computer system.
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
