SummaryResponsible for inspecting, disinfecting, assembling, processing and distributing patient care instruments, equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies, procedures and AAMI standards. Acts as a role model and resource to peers and other members of the health care team related to processing of equipment, instruments, and supplies. Stores, rotates and ensures all instruments and supplies are correctly labeled.Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years of relevant experience sterile processing technician experience or related sterile processing Preferred

  • CRT-Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT) - CBSPD Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution Upon Hire required Or

  • CRT-Registered Central Services Technician, Certified (CRCST) - IAHCSMM International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management Upon Hire required And

  • CRT-At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty - UNKNOWN Unknown Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS)Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL)Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER)Certified in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM)1 1/2 Yrs required
