International Customer Experience Agent

Schedule:

Full Time: 8:00am -- 5:00pm, Monday -- Friday

*Position Summary: *

This position will process and ship orders to international subsidiaries, distributors, and end customers. You will also, prepare paperwork to ship orders, provide customer service in assisting customers with order status, inventory availability, pricing, quality issues. Interaction with subsidiaries, distributors, and end customers via email and interaction with internal departments including accounting, production control, stockroom, service, and shipping. This position is in an office environment with other personnel that handle both domestic and international orders/shipments.

*Position Responsibilities: *

  • Responsible for processing and maintaining international orders, prepare export documents for shipments, answer incoming phone calls, filing, assist customers with problem resolution and prepare commission requests. Weekly mailing of all documentation to subs and customers
  • Issue return material authorizations, review contracts and letters of credit
  • Maintain contact with the following: accounting, production, shipping, International sales, subsidiaries/distributors, customers, freight forwarders and banking facilities to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all international transactions are cleared against proper company procedures
  • Screen export license applications against the Denied Persons List
  • Maintain all shipping documents relating to international orders, all correspondences with the government on export issues and in-house correspondence regarding export matters
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Computer skills (email, internet, order management system, Excel, Word, and Oracle) 
  • Administrative (typing and scanning skills) 
  • Good reading comprehension
  • Communications skills, including written & verbal
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
