The role
The Quality Engineer ensures that products meet customer expectations by analyzing and improving quality processes, investigating issues, and collaborating with teams across the company. This role focuses on continuous improvement to enhance overall quality performance.
How youll make an impact
Ensure products meet customer expectations by analyzing and resolving quality issues.
Develop and implement Quality Control Plans (QCP).
Manage customer requirements like PPAPs and PFMEAs.
Coordinate pre-launch production trials and analyze results.
Identify and address production non-conformance issues.
Monitor quality performance using KPIs and conduct process stability studies.
Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with teams to implement them.
Use problem-solving techniques for root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
Improve the Quality Management System to boost performance and customer satisfaction.
Lead and participate in quality audits and assessments.
Handle customer complaints, investigate issues, and verify corrective actions.
Manage quality improvement projects using project management tools.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with stakeholders (operations, customers, sales, and engineering) to define critical quality parameters.
Lead team-based activities and promote collaboration.
Design and deliver quality training sessions, both in-person and online.
Perform other Quality Department duties as needed.
What do you bring
Bachelors degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering OR at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Certification as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred.
2+ years of experience with ISO 9001 or other Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Hands-on experience with QCP, KPIs, root cause analysis, PFMEA, PPAP, CAPA, and similar tools.
Proven success in continuous quality improvement within lean manufacturing environments.
Experience leading Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects; Green Belt certification preferred.
