Job Description Empire Automotive Group Volvo of Smithtown: Sales Consultant

Smithtown Volvo has an opportunity for an experienced salesperson with a strong track record of success to lead. We have a great opportunity with an aggressive pay plan and a structured bonus/commission to meet our large, ready to roll inventory! This position will allow you to develop your leadership skills while helping consumers sort out their automotive needs, creating both personal and financial goals.

Some Empire sales consultants make over 100k in their first year!

Your daily work schedule:

The candidate will have at least three years of successful sales experience and the will to learn their customer needs using all the available tools given for success. Candidates must have great people skills, enthusiasm, energy, a positive attitude, and drive. Candidates should also have strong telephone and computer skills.

You will continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; knows the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies for new and used cars. You will develop relationships with customers to build a client-base for life. You will exhibit consultative selling skills and assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. You will handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time limits using dealerships CRM, phone, text and email. You will perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles. You will follow up with buyers to ensure a successful referral business. You will learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations. You will become a team leader by helping the sales team achieve their goals set by management. You will report directly to the Senior Management team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyzes. You will bring leadership, A game along with a positive attitude to work every single day.

Qualities were looking for:

You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Reliable and presentable in business attire representing Empire Volvo in a professional matter. Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time. You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic while leading. You have strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction. You have at least three years of prior employment in the automotive industry. You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude. You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development. Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays. You have strong computer and multitasking skills, which includes Microsoft Office. You will operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to details. You have shown stability in the job industry, growing in each position you worked. You have a valid and clean NY state drivers license and pass a drug and background check.
