Estimating & Project Assistant An established Concrete & Excavating company is seeking an experienced estimator. Responsibilities include: • The ability to read plans, specifications and related documents. • Identify finishes and request pricing from vendors for each finish & obtain a written quote. • Prepare excel spreadsheets for proposal. • Excellent computer and software skills and ability to learn (Plan Swift) take-off software. • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Previous experience in construction a plus or the willingness to learn the industry. • A "CAN DO" attitude, self-starter and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent customer service skills with customers, vendors and co-workers. • Review contracts and become familiar with terms and conditions. • Prepare submittal samples for approval. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
