Job Title: Lead Chemist Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Chemist Operator to facilitate chemical reactions for the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and flavor and fragrance industries. In this role, you will be involved in the direct production of APIs and related chemicals for vaccines and other pharmaceutical ingredients. You will work with glassware and other small-scale systems to produce the product. The role involves a 50lb lifting requirement as you may need to move carts of chemicals and packaging to be put into reactors. You will also work with reaction chambers, distillation equipment (20L to 200L), and drying filters (50 gallons to 1500 gallons).

BS Degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry)

OR

API Manufacturing experience

OR

Chemical Operating experience

Hard Skills

  • Physical Strength (Ability to lift 50lbs)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in St Francis, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

This position is primarily on the 3rd shift, although initial training may be conducted on the 1st shift. The working hours for the 1st shift are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, while the 3rd shift is from 11pm to 7am. The role is based within a chemical manufacturing facility where there may be a light smell of chemicals.
