Description Robert Half is looking for a Tax Manager to join our client! This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements, and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. Responsibilities
Assist in the review and oversight of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Aid in the compliance of financial and tax reporting policies and procedures
Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s
Assemble and analyze complicated income tax returns- Inspect and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Assist in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Assist in quality control review for all financial statements Requirements - Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
5-7 years' experience in tax accounting
2+ years of supervisory experience
CPA preferred
