SCR Construction Contract Specialist in St. Cloud, Minnesota

OurCoreValues Perseverance / Integrity / Family / Stability / Competency Roles and Responsibilities Prepare and review construction contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives and company policies Draft and modify subcontractor agreements, change orders, and other necessary contract documentation Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines Maintain and organize all contract files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accessible and up to date Monitor the performance of contractors and subcontractors to ensure contract terms are being followed, including scope of work, quality of work, timelines, and safety standards Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements Assist in contract disputes, address claims, and assist in negotiating settlements when necessary Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding contract related issues Work closely with project managers and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any contractual issues that may arise Prepare and maintain reports on contract status, compliance, and performance for internal and external stakeholders Perform any prequalification requirements that clients, contractors or subcontractors may require Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction contract administration or a similar role In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, construction law, and project management principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizations skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work successfully in a team environment Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field Physical Requirements Ability to sit up to eight (8) hours per working day Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to grasp and handle objects What's in it for You Health Insurance with company-match HSA Company-paid Dental, Life, and Short-term Disability insurance 401k/Profit sharing Vacation, Holiday, and Sick pay Being a valued & appreciated team member of a premier family-owned company EEO/AA/M/F/Vets/Disabled
