Adecco US, Inc. Administrative Assistant in St Clair, Michigan

Adecco is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support an engineering and construction company.

Purpose:

To offer administrative assistance during daily operations of a non-technical matter at project sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project site team, as well as other Administrative Assistants, in all administrative functions.

  • Administration of project files including status reports and bid packages.

  • Administration of contracts and additional work orders (AWO).

  • Maintain calendar and filing system.

  • Handle routine correspondence for the Manager in his/her absence.

  • Audit construction drawings to ensure site has most recent set.

Requirements:

  • Ability to keep private all confidential information.

  • Strong computer aptitude, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of business spelling, and vocabulary.

  • Ability to work independently after receiving brief explanation.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, the public and clients.

  • Understanding of building materials and construction terminology; knowledge of procedures for production of construction documents.

  • Accountability

  • Follow the Quality Systems and Procedures Manual and Work Instructions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.

  • Administrative capabilities, exercise poise and professionalism, and be able to deal with people at all levels in all departments.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
