BayCare is currently in search of our newest Physical Therapist Assistant - Pool who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. St. Anthony’s Carillon Outpatient Rehabilitation Center offers a wide range of outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and adolescents. From sports injury therapy to rehabilitation for musculoskeletal disorders and post-surgical limitations, our services are provided by an experienced team that is focused on your unique needs and goals for recovery.

Facility: BayCare Health System, Rehab Services Main – St. Anthony's Hospital
Location: St. Anthony’s Carillon Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, St. Petersburg, FL
Status: Pool (Non-Benefit Eligible), Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift: Days
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: No
Physical Therapy Assistant - Pool responsibilities:
Assists Physical Therapists with the administration of interventions utilized in physical therapy and rehabilitation
May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan developed by the physical therapist
May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists. Team members with temporary permits must work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist that has been licensed for a minimum of six months
A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time
Requirements :
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)
Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
Required Associate's Physical Therapy
Preferred 1 year Physical Therapy Assistant
