Alabama Department of Corrections Correctional Officer Trainee in Springville, Alabama
This is correctional security work as a trainee that consist of training on the policies and procedures associated with the custody and rehabilitation of inmates within a correctional institution. Employees learn to maintain security of a correctional institution and to observe and participate in the supervision, control, and custody of offenders. Position could be at any location within the Alabama Department of Corrections. Applicant must pass Physical Ability Test, Written Exam, Background Check and Drug Test. Other requirements: H.S. Diploma or GED, valid Driver's License, no felony convictions of domestic violence, 19 years old and be a U.S. citizen. Multiple shifts, pay and schedule will be discussed at interview. Possibility of other jobs to be discussed include Security Guard 1, Administrative positions, and many more! Some jobs do not presently require a physical ability test.
