If interested in learning more about the opportunity, please send your resume over to firstname.lastname@example.org Responsibilities *Conduct testing of project compounds in multiple cellular and biochemical assays in laboratory to support TPD platform and portfolio efforts *Analyze and review the cellular and biochemical assays' pharmacology data and provide interpretation of the results and suggestion for follow up experiment when it is appropriate *Consistently deliver high quality data to the project teams within timelines *Troubleshoot pharmacology experiments when necessary to ensure delivery of consistent and high-quality data. *Majority of time will be hands-on work in the laboratory *Opportunity to work on cutting-edge science in a collaborative team environment *Analyze, interpret and report experimental data (electronic notebook, database, scientific presentations) Qualifications: *B.S./B.A in Cell Biology, Biochemistry/Biophysics, Molecular Pharmacology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent major with 5+ years of industry work experience is required. Master's degree with at least 3 years industry experience or a PhD is preferred *Expertise in cell-based and biochemical assay development, optimization and execution in conventional assay formats such as HTRF, FP, fluorescence, luminescence, NanoBRET, FLOW is required. *Experience with robotic automation, stand-alone automation liquid handler such as Combi, Janus, or Tempest, high throughput screening is highly desired. *Experience with data analysis software, such as Genedata, Excel, GraphPad Prism is preferred. *A minimum of 2 years of hands on experience and proficiency in tissue culture techniques and mammalian cell tissue culture is preferred EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
