Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Communications Specialist to join our team! In this role you will support a high-speed, operationally-focused customer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Source Operations group (SX) with planning, coordinating, and delivering communications that support SX business processes.

SX operates within the Source component and interacts with customers to develop innovative and integrated GEOINT strategies that serve customer needs. SX also optimizes and manages GEOINT collection sources, and works with suppliers and partners to enable decision advantage by optimizing and accelerating GEOINT tasking, collection, and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Developing, coordinating, and executing strategic communications and marketing plans for SX that will familiarize both internal and external customers with the capabilities and services SX provides.

  • Managing SX subject-matter expert involvement and briefing materials for VIP visits.

  • Hosting lunch and learn series for the SX workforce.

  • Editing inputs to the director’s Weekly Activity Report (WAR) by distilling technical information to a more easily digestible format, and submitting the final product to Source.

  • Assisting in the assessment of communications metrics and data to inform strategic communications decisions.

  • Working with other communications team members both within SX and across the agency to create, review, and edit briefings and other communications documents for consistency and clarity of message.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • DoD TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph).

  • Bachelor's degree and 11+ years of related professional experience. Non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines established for designated job family.

  • Ability to succeed in a high-speed, high operational-tempo environment.

  • Experience communicating both orally and in writing with senior government executives on a daily basis.

  • Experience assessing communications metrics and data to support senior decision makers at the executive level for strategic communications decisions.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection operations.

  • Distilling highly technical information to more understandable language for wider distribution to stakeholders.

  • Ability to brief Senior Executive Service (SES) members and high-ranking military.

  • Demonstrated experience in presenting oral and written communications to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic-level decisions in a team environment.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Top Secret/SCI (with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph)

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
