We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to come and analyze, design and implement production processes to measurably improve efficiency and quality metrics. Evaluate and monitor processes to ensure safety and consistency. Conduct Statistical Analysis to validate and quantify changes in process control. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet all customer and internal specification to make ready for shipment.

Responsibilities: Process Design and Implementation

  • Create and maintain documentation for production processes.

  • Work with operations and engineering departments to successfully implement and sustain recommended process improvements, including build processes, documentation, and quality tracking.

  • Assist with content creation for documentation to support installation, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.

  • Design and implement production processes which will measurably improve efficiency metrics (OTD, LT, Cycle Time, Etc.).

  • Lead ISO 9001 Internal Quality Auditing function.

Quality Control

  • Implement data driven approach to In-Process and Final Manufacturing quality analyses.

  • Learn the basics of the Fortive Reliability Program within the manufacturing department and implement action plans to effectively improve overall quality during manufacturing, installation, and life of systems throughout warranty period.

  • Assist in gathering and providing data for Daily and Visual metric where applicable to accurately reflect quality level.

  • Ensure all work performed is in accordance with the best commercial quality practices, and follows all ISO Quality standards

  • Assists in maintaining accurate records for completed tasks i.e.: Datasheets, Travelers, Routers and Inventory Transaction records, job files and records related to assembly activities.

  • Lead Internal ISO Auditing Team to complete Process Audits.

  • Working knowledge of both the hardware and software of Echo and Autowafer platforms to be able to exercise the system, run basic scans and collect images to verify system is operating correctly.

Production Support

  • Learn and performs all tasks related to and/or necessary in the assembly, manufacturing and Integration of systems and products to meet forecast and quality objectives.

  • Troubleshoot and repair wide variety of Electrical/Mechanical problems associated with current product line and supporting machinery. Work with engineering team to feedback systemic issues via the ECR process to ensure changes are implemented and tracked correctly.

  • Proficient at reading / redlining schematics to document issues or enhancements.

  • Assist in the monthly ‘Physical Inventory’ of manufacturing material as required and oversight of reconciliation to financial reports.

  • Assist with routine building maintenance, as needed.

  • Maintains a neat and organized work area.

  • Participate in other duties as required to accomplish company objectives.

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor or top-level management.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of process engineering related skills. BS in Engineering not required but desired, must be able to meet core job requirement through relevant experience.

  • Must be able to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. Ability to create and edit work instructions and data management tools using various software (Excel, Jotform, Salesforce, Etc.

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues related to semiconductor equipment including; Robotics, Linear Motion, Pneumatics, Vacuum Systems, Controls, Signal Processing, Wafer Handling Systems

  • Strong Written, Verbal and Interpersonal skills.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

63,000 - 117,000 . Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
