Ink Monkey LLC Public Relations Assistant in Springfield, Missouri
We are a graphic design company in the Springfield, Missouri area that is teaming up with the Missouri Job Center to provide a learning experience for young adults looking to work in selling our work! The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with our clients to help them decide what services they need from us by travelling to their worksite and gathering the information needed to be able to make their business shine. If you are passionate about helping people and have a knack for negotiation, we want to hear from you! We will train the right candidate no matter what.
Our hours are9amto5pmfromMonday-Thursday, and9amto3pmonFriday. You will get an hour lunch break each day and be working around33 hours a week.
Responsibilities: - Search for and make contact with various businesses in the area to offer our services and ask about any potential needs they have that we could provide - Engage with customers in a courteous, outgoing and friendly manner - Take notes and organize details of measurements, ideas, and other information the customer might need to give to the designers - Maintain a clean and professional appearance (Business Casual-- we have assistance programs available for those who need access to more professional clothing!) - Manage time and get to places on a tight schedule for meetings - Demonstrate knowledge of our services to assist customers with inquiries - Coming up with possible design ideas and changes on the fly - Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale - Collaborate with the other members of the company to ensure clear communication and correct information gets to all parties involved
Qualifications: - Must be18-24 years oldto qualify for the program - Knowledge of basic math, ability to use tape measure - Excellent phone etiquette skills and communication ability - Ability to keep track of time and work on an individual level without close management - Reliable transportation-- you will be travelling to various clients and worksites in the area - Must have the physical ability to walk and stand for most of the hours of work - Familiarity with Adobe software and graphic design is a plus, but not required - A positive and go-getting attitude, comfortable in social situations with new people and willing to adapt to changing environments
