Phoenix Home Care and Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Hospice in Springfield, Missouri

  • Hospice Aide

  • Full Time: Monday - Friday, Days

  • Springfield, MO and surrounding areas

Our Hospice services aim to address the physical, spiritual, and emotional requirements of both our clients and their families who are confronting end-of-life healthcare needs. We provide compassionate and dignified care while maintaining continuity of care. Hospice aides play a crucial role by providing support with personal hygiene and bathing. They collaborate closely with the nurse case manager to guarantee that all the patients' needs are being met in accordance with the established care plan.

Job Duties

  • Perform personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.) according to the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.

  • Document care provided according to agency policy.

  • Report any deviations from the Plan of Care to the Case Manager (or designee if not available.)

  • Use Durable Medical Equipment safely.

  • Maintains records of services performed and of apparent condition of patient.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • CNA certification required.

  • Terms must be met to receive Sign on Bonus!

  • Hospice or Long-Term care experience preferred.

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance

  • Ability to pass a drug test.

  • Ability to pass a background check.
